The term test tube baby is used for babies' conceived in a laboratory through the scientific process of In Vitro fertilization. The eggs and sperms are mixed in a Petri dish and infact, there is no test tube used during whole procedure.

On Day 25th July 1978, Louise joy Brown, the world's first baby conceived in IVF is born at Royal oldham, district general Hospital in Manchester, England.  In India, the first test tube baby was born in 6th August 1986.  Presently in whole world, about 5lakhs babies are born by IVF technique.

There are 20,000 ART centers across country providing IVF & IUI services. We have national guideline for accredation, supervision and regulation of ART clinic.

The first test tube baby was born at our centre on 2nd January 2023,it gave lot of  confidence and happiness to me. This was followed by many more happy moments and hopes in life of infertility couples. We often talk about only success stories, happy moments, but this journey is not without failure, negativity, teaching a lesson that nature has the supreme power.
